On 14 January 2024, we held our inaugural Networking Cocktail event. It was aimed at acquainting the future medical community with one another and providing a platform for cultivating professional relationships.
The evening unfolded with a delightful array of canapés and buffet offerings, fostering lively conversation amidst the sophisticated ambiance of Cali@Ascott of Singapore’s event space. Interactive games and a lucky draw was also incorporated into the event program. Among our distinguished guests were 9 doctors representing various specialties and career stages across different healthcare clusters, alongside 22 students from universities across Australia.
A significant hurdle we faced revolved around finding a venue that precisely aligned with our requirements, particularly considering past feedback indicating limitations in space and interaction. Despite the tight timeline between securing the venue and hosting the event, we put in our best efforts to ensure all aspects were well coordinated.
Overall, this year’s event was undeniably a triumph, and we eagerly anticipate making the next iteration even more impactful.
